non regestered purse shoot

Do we have intrest in a 200 bird shoot 75/75/50 over three days ties divide purse could pay down 6 or 8 spots, euro lewis class pulled after 150 and an indvidual lewis class  with added  monies, we need 48 shooters. Only shootoff would be for first second or third if needed.

Re: non regestered purse shoot
Trying to gauge the intrest first could go 2 days for 150 bird shoot 3 days for 200  150 -180 dollars depending on number of targets and food requirements. Purse could go 40-30-20-10 40-30-20-10 @ 60.00 dollars and two 20.00 dollar lewis class. Plus a couple of hundred added thrown in by sponsors. Just floating the idea first

Re: non regestered purse shoot
Barney - the Senior Open is basically a cash shoot (only a few plaques for the HOA and Class Winners). We have normally charged a $50 purse for the 125 event. With 36+ shooters last year, you can see what we returned in purse money. We use the Euro Class system, and if you made a Final you were in the money, since we paid the top 6 in each class. 1 - 3 place earned more $$, and 4th - 6th in each class paid the same. We only shot off for first for the plaque and money, and 2nd and 3rd if required for the $$. Since HOA comes from A Class, the 6th place in A was based on the 125 without Finals. Ties broken by long run by score, then by target if required. Lots of fun watching people in the Final knowing each bird costs/earns them money! None of this "ties divide" bit! Pointer - settle your Class shoot offs before anyone leaves the line - keeps it from dragging on. Maxey
