Fort Benning Zone 3 Skeet Championships Canceled

The AMU Shotgun Team regrets to announce we have had to cancel the Zone

3 Skeet Championships at Ft. Benning 30 March to 1 April, 2007.  The Zone 3 Trap Championships are still scheduled for 26-29 April so please do not confuse the two.

The reason for this decisions is due to the 2007 ISSF USA World Cup in rifle and pistol that will be held on the AMU ranges at Fort Benning from 31 March to 8 April.  The Pool Indoor complex does not have enough room needed to accommodate WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) and ISSF News personnel for this event.  We looked at all our options but unfortunately the best option was to cancel the match so the buildings at Shotgun could be used.  We will resume the Zone 3 Skeet Championships in 2008.  Please pass this information to anyone you know that was planning to attend.
