Coach Dean Clark with the AMU Shotgun Team asked for the following announcement to be posted:

Fort Benning Zone 3 Skeet Championships Canceled

The AMU Shotgun Team regrets to announce we have had to cancel the Zone

3 Skeet Championships at Ft. Benning 30 March to 1 April, 2007. The Zone 3 Trap Championships are still scheduled for 26-29 April so please do not confuse the two.

The reason for this decisions is due to the 2007 ISSF USA World Cup in rifle and pistol that will be held on the AMU ranges at Fort Benning from 31 March to 8 April. The Pool Indoor complex does not have enough room needed to accommodate WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) and ISSF News personnel for this event. We looked at all our options but unfortunately the best option was to cancel the match so the buildings at Shotgun could be used. We will resume the Zone 3 Skeet Championships in 2008. Please pass this information to anyone you know that was planning to attend.

Welcome to the new InternationalShotgun.net. Your home for the latest news and events on Olympic Trap, Double Trap and Skeet.

Well it is finally here. I hope you like the look and feel of the new site. After speaking with several people over the past couple of months I was able to garner a lot of feed back and support on the site. I want to continue that spirit of discussion and information sharing by presenting content on our favorite shooting sports on this new site. If you have any information (Event Results, Photos, Articles or News) that we can present on this please send it via e-mail to info@internationalshotgun.net.

I encourage all shooters to register on this site. This will help greatly with the communication out to shooters. To register, please click on the "Register" link in the upper-right corner of this screen.

Finally, I want to thank everyone for their patience in waiting for the site to be changed over.
